ZTE today introduced its latest Android smartphone, the Intel-powered GEEK, however there’s nary a release date or detail about market availability. Running Android Jelly Bean, the ZTE GEEK features a 5-inch 720p HD display, 8GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, and 1-megapixel front-facing camera.
As for the Intel processor, this is the first to include the new 2GHz 32nm Atom Z2850 CPU. When compared to the previous generation processor, the Clover Trail+ is twice as fast for computing and three times as fast for graphics.
Additional details for the ZTE GEEK include a 2,300mAh batter, wireless charging capability, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS.
