All Gretel products are on sale this week at AliExpress, with massive discounts across the board. There are five phones in particular we’d like to highlight, all of which are ridiculously affordable with interesting features to boot. While Gretel may not be a brand that’s at the forefront of your mind, give them a look – you might be pleasantly surprised to find the backup phone of your dreams.

Gretel A7

Starting at $39.99, this is a tough deal to beat. The specs are modest, with only a single gig of RAM and a small, quad-core processor, but it runs Android Marshmallow, has a Samsung camera, a 4.7″ 720p Gorilla Glass display and features 16GB ROM (expandable). Not bad for a cheap replacement or a backup.

Gretel S55

The S55 is a slight step up from the A7, featuring dual rear cameras, a larger 5.5″ screen, running Android 7.0, but otherwise the same processor and RAM as the A7. The added features won’t cost you much more, though, at only $50.39.

Gretel GT6000

In my opinion, this is probably the most interesting device of the bunch. With a massive 6000mAh battery, dual rear cameras, metal unibody design, and 2/16GB RAM/ROM (expandable) for only $90, this has a bit of everything you’ll need in a phone – even if it’s just to tide you over ’til you get a new one.

Gretel A6/A9

These two phones are extremely similar, with the only difference being the size of the screen (A9, 5″ and A6, 5.5″) and placement of the fingerprint sensor (A9, front and A6, rear). Otherwise, both phones feature the same processor, 2/16GB RAM/ROM (expandable), and 13mp Samsung rear camera. The A6 also has a significantly larger battery, at 3000mAh compared to the A9’s 2300mAh. Both are similarly priced, with the A6 coming in at $67 while the A9 runs $70.
