Bluboo looks to make a splash at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics Fair on October 18th (Sponsored)

Bluboo has had quite a year. It’s announced or released half a dozen phones, and still has more in the works before the end of the year – starting with the Global Sources Mobile Electronics Fair in Hong Kong. The conference runs from October 18th through October 21st, and Bluboo is expected to reveal one or more handsets there. Let’s take a look at what’s on the docket, courtesy of Bluboo itself.

Bluboo’s S Series, as seen above, is a display-focused, affordable series of phones focused on bringing quality to the masses. Note that the S8+ and S8 Lite are both listed here, phones we have covered but haven’t yet seen in person. Consider this an official, unofficial confirmation. Suspiciously absent, though, is the Bluboo S2 and it’s pair of dual cameras – both front and back. Keep your eye out that announcement, as we have it on good authority that it’ll make an appearance.

The R series is pair of rugged smartphones that are built to withstand weather and grime. The R2 Pro is another phone that hasn’t officially been revealed, but makes an appearance here.

D series is all about trends. On these phones you’ll find gimmicks and modern trends expected of the big-name smartphone manufacturers, and wouldn’t you know it – yet another unreleased smartphone getting ready to be shown off. Add four more phones to Bluboo’s growing armada.

In addition to its presence at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics Fair, Bluboo is also celebrating the first year of its official store with a little sale on its S1 and S8 phones, $149.99 and $147.99, respectively.
