Here’s the first hands-on video of the Oukitel K8 (Promoted)

At the end of June, Oukitel announced its latest handset, the Oukitel K8. The device looks to turn a lot of heads with its impressive specs and enormous 5,000mAh battery.

As we are getting closer to the official launch, the first hands-on video has been published. The video covers the various specs, along with the overall design of the Oukitel K8.

Oukitel K8 Specs

Speaking of the specs, let’s take a look at what the K8 brings to the table.

OUKITEL K8 main specs officially released

On the front, we have a 6-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 1080p resolution. Under the hood, Oukitel has included the MediaTek MT6750T chipset. This is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

In the camera department, there is a basic 5MP lens on the front of the K8. Moving to the rear, we have a 13MP primary lens from Sony, and a secondary 2MP sensor.

Other features of the Oukitel K8 include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 8.0 Oreo, and a gigantic 5,000mAh battery. This battery is something that will definitely get some folks excited off the jump.

Build Quality

The K8 has a rather unique build when it comes to the coating being used. Sure, there are bezels on the front, curved edges, and all that jazz.

However, Oukitel has opted to use a new layer of coating on the rear of the handset. This not only provides a metallic feel, but also will help keep your device protected.

Pricing & Availability

Unfortunately, we are still waiting to hear about pricing and availability for the Oukitel K8. The company has not yet shared these bits of information.

Instead, Oukitel stated that the device is still putting through its paces, but you can get excited with this latest video. Let us know in the comments below what you think about the K8 and if you’re interested in picking one up for yourself.
