As we’ve come to expect from the Chinese manufacturer, OUKITEL recently announced another new phone – what it calls the first iPhone X clone on the market, the U18. Pre-orders are under way over at BangGood, and delivery should begin in the next few weeks. Not content to wait for deliveries, though OUKITEL has posted an unboxing video of its own – seen below.

The U18’s packaging is a simple affair, with U18 branding on one corner and the OUKITEL logo on two sides. There are a total of nine items in the package; the U18, a box, user manual, warranty card, SIM pin, 3.5mm earphone adapter, USB cable, 5V/3A flash charger, and a silicone case.

OUKITEL’s U18 is  clearly modeled after both the iPhone X and Huawei’s Mate 10 Pro – the display, with its rather distinctive “ears” is an obvious nod to Apple’s Notch, while the symmetrical, black ceramic body is a dead ringer for the Mate 10 Pro. It’s packing a 5.85″ 720p display, a pure Android 7.0 experience, MediaTek 6750T processor, and 4/64GB RAM/ROM (expandable). It also sports a 4000mAh battery, notably larger than many popular smartphones.

As mentioned above, OUKITEL’s U18 is currently up for preorder over at BangGood – and at a special, discounted price of just $159.99.That price blows both the iPhone X and Mate 10 Pro completely out of the water – and though it doesn’t have the star power of either of the aforementioned devices, OUKITEL is slowly making a name for itself making quality, budget phones – don’t overlook it.
