At First Glance

The TYLT Energi+ is a great looking bag that can fit all of your storage and charging needs at the same time. It looks like your everyday backpack but it has loads of room for storage and charging. With the built-in battery and accessory cable slots you’ll be able to charge your items throughout the bag.

Storage Capacity

One of the things that I love about this bag is the storage capacity; I have room for just about anything. I can keep my tablet, laptop, cell phone, Bluetooth speaker, and more in the bag – all at once. I still have left over room for notebooks, pens, a few more gadgets, chargers, an overnight’s worth of clothes, etc.

Durability

TYLT made sure that this bag was durable. The fabric is reinforced to prevent damages and water repellent and you shouldn’t worry about anything happening to your bag or items with regular usage. There’s even a protective hard container built-in to keep your glasses/sunglasses.

TYLT Battery Pack (10,400mAh)

One smart thing that TYLT manages to do with their Energi+ Bag is always keeping the smartphone and device user in mind. The removable 10,400mAh TYLT Energi Battery Pack has all the juice you should need for a long day’s adventure or weekend out and about. It features 3 USB ports to charge your smartphones, tablets, Bluetooth headsets, and more. Plenty of juice to get you through the day.

Lately I’ve encountered many battery packs that can put out two amps yet can only take in one amp. This leads to a much longer charging time,. Unlike most battery packs, the TYLT Energi+ pack can take in two amps just as well.

Overview and Pricing

Although the bag is protective and stylish, it becomes a bit unwieldy and awkward when a good amount of storage is used up.

At times when you unzip the flaps a certain way or take out the water bottle pouch you can feel a bit clumsy. With all of the opening to fit your USB cables throughout the bag from the battery pack, this is an added bonus.

Because of some of these issues, and particularly because of its $199 price tag I am a bit hesitant to recommend this bag. It’s not a bad product by any means, however I personally don’t feel that cost is justifiable for this bag.

If interested, you can get your briefcase, charging station, and book-bag combo device at the TYLT Store. Know, however, that I suggest a slightly-lower price or alternate to this bag.
