Mobile photo editing software is in demand in the world of social media outlets such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. People love to express themselves to their friends and families through the images they post of their lives. Ultrapop gives you a ton of options from simple color overlays to complex geometric filters which can give your pictures that extra “pop”.
To begin using the editor, you first choose an image you would like to customize; this can be taken directly from the camera or chosen from your local storage(Gallery, Google Photos, and Zedge are the three that come up for me). Once you have selected your image you are able to crop it into any shape you want; you could leave it at original size, choose from a list of standard aspect ratios or customize the size to your needs. Next step is to apply the filter (or filters – yes they can be stacked!) by selecting the filter group from the swipe bar at the bottom and choosing the desired filter. A feature that I really like is the ability to adjust the intensity of the filter. Using a gauge just above the filter selector allows you to adjust how much effect the filter has on the original image; it also has a percentage readout so that you can replicate the desired filter intensity on future images. Once you have you picture just right, simply click the share button and post to directly to your Facebook or Instagram account (it also integrates with the typical share function).
There are tons of additional filters for this app available through the in-app store. There are a few free packages and some packages that you get for doing things such as liking it on Facebook or leaving feedback in the Play Store, the rest of the packages are paid costing anywhere from $0.99 – $1.99 depending on how many filters come in the pack; or you can purchase all of the filters for $3.99 in their “gigantic” pack.

Conclusion –
Ultrapop does a great job of being a one-stop shop for your picture taking and editing needs; being able to take, crop, filter, and share your images all in one location is an awesome ability and a huge time saver. Once you get the hang of things, Ultrapop is a nice way to add that “pop” to those photos aimed at your social media outlet of choice.
