Ever wanted to watch TV shows on your phone? TV Shows Stream is the answer. With this incredible application, your can browse through tons (and I mean tons) of TV shows and hundreds of episodes. You can even favorite specific TV shows to receive a notification when new episodes are available. Still not convinced? Lets compare this to Hulu Hulu Plus. Not only is there no Hulu app for Android, this application is only $5 for unlimited TV shows. That’s it. There are no monthly or annual fees–just five bucks. I think this app is perfect for anyone and can be used just about anywhere. Just remember, this app does require streaming videos over the Internet. If you don’t have an unlimited data plan, you may want to turn on WiFi. Also, keep a charger nearby–this application can, and will, drain your battery.

  1. Love the idea, but I really doubt that the app is legal. Its servers will probably get shut down and users would probably lose access to the video streams.

  2. And keep in mind that the app is also probably streaming these shows illegally, so if it gets shut down, you might be out $5.

    • This app links to external sources such as Megavideo to get you content. Megavideo and other such sites have been around for years and arent going anywhere. The app itself is not illegal. AWSOME app my new favorite. 5 dollars well spent.

  3. You can get the app TV Shows HD for free and basically serves the same purpose (minus the ability to add favorites and receive notifications)

  4. I fully agree here guys. The first word out my thoughts: Legal? It’s charging for content that is already free in most places online anyways, in essence he/she is selling a conglomerate of links to the source material, not the media itself. One way around the legality’s of being out right sued vs just having the app removed. The more money and media this garnishes will only lead to it’s already expected expedited demise >_> ..

  5. Yeah any app that’s like ‘yodawg if the link doesn’t work try the other two’ isn’t getting my money. He’s just profiting off of someone else’s piracy. I’m sad that this article is even on AG.

This isn’t hulu, this is Yarrrrlu

  6. Legal or not it still calls out the underlying issue that Android needs a robust streaming service and it needs it right away. Ideally Netflix (IMO) due to the amount of content they have but I’ll take Hulu+, something from Amazon, Redbox, or even soon to be/maybe “YouTube movies”. The point is we need streaming now. I sit here and stare at my XOOM and phone (original Droid) and I can’t stream a movie but I can with my 2nd gen iPod. We need a movie streaming solution NOW or people will continue to flock over to Apple with cash in hand. To show my age … the Betacam rocked VHS’s world but in the end VHS became the standard. Let’s not let Android become the next Betacam.

  7. I am a huge fan of the whole TV everywhere aspect of today’s
entertainment, and I believe TV Shows Stream has a lot of catching up to do.
Yes, they are able to stream, but I only see on demand content being released. I
use the Remote Access app from my employer, DISH Network, to stream live TV and
DVR recording anywhere. I absolutely love it, and I recently hooked it up to my
    car’s flip down screen!

  8. Yeah, well guess what? I downloaded their upgraded version forever ago and now it won’t play squat!!! Wireless connection is fine….. NOT going to pay for any app again! Just get screwed in the long-run!:(
