One of our absolute favorite things about Android is the fact that you can bend and tweak the platform to your needs.  Sure, there’s rooting and modding for deep level personalization, but that stuff does not always concern the everyday user. Some of just want to change the home screen around a bit and create a new user experience. To that end, we present our weekly series of Get This Look posts.
In a nutshell we will show you a new look for your Android handset and tell you which apps you’ll need if you want to mimic the feel. Note that the following details are but the ingredients to which you can create your own delicious Android dish – results will vary. Â But that’s awesome. In fact, many of the designs we highlight tend to use the same apps.

WHY WE LOVE THIS LOOK:
This is a gorgeous layout with clean lines and a perfect balance of colors over white space. In fact, we’d would go so far as to say this looks like something Google would officially endorse. The icons are ideal for this design and we love the way in which apps and settings are spread over multiple screens.
Â
We really dig the quick access to the common settings (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, brightness, etc) and always appreciate having a sharp clock and weather widget. Looking closely, it’s obvious that considerable time was spent choosing the fonts and colors. While we generally like using but one screen to access all of our apps and settings, we’re in love with the manner in which all five screens work together.
NOTE: This look will take a bit more work than some of the others we profile here but we think you’ll be pleased with the results. You’ll also need to grab nearly one dozen apps as well as some other odds-n-ends in order to achieve the design.

I love this look! Can someone put everything together so I can just download an apk and install it? Please?
Me too please…I’ll pay for it too….
Sadly, It doesn’t work that way Don. You still have to configure it.
I was always under the impression that white will drain your battery faster. Any drain using this thing?
