Three super fast steps to change the quick settings on your Samsung Galaxy S7

In one area Samsung has always shined bright is with the quick settings in the drop down notification window.

These options exist on other Android devices, but Samsung has 16 quick toggle settings you can arrange in any order you prefer. I like to have my flashlight handy in the drop down shade since I am out late at night with my dog. Another useful toggle I like to keep in the first five toggles is the “Do Not Disturb” quick button so I don’t get disturbed while I sleep late at night.

Swapping them out and changing the order is rather simple and can be done in three simple steps.

  1. Once in the notification window, look at the top right of the screen and select the arrow facing downward. That will expose all 16 toggles.Screenshot_20160401-232042
  2. Next select “Edit” at the top right, just to the left of the “Up” arrow.Screenshot_20160401-232057
  3. Find the quick toggle you would like, long press it, and then drag it to the position you want to see it in the notification menu. Then select “Done” and enjoy a new order of quick toggles.Screenshot_20160401-232134
