Sharp Extends Aquos Brand with New 3D Android Handset

Again we find ourselves a bit jealous of our Android brothers and sisters who live in Japan.  Sharp has announced their May20th launch of their newest Aquos branded product, the poorly named SH-12C.  What is interesting is that the device is going to carry 3D capability, with two 8 MP rear facing cams, which is better than the recently announcedEVO 3D at CTIA 2011 [VIDEO]” href=”http://www.androidguys.com/2011/03/28/handson-sprint-evo-3d-ctia-2011/”> EVO 3D.  The handset is going to launch with Gingerbread, and also allow 720p 3D video.  It will be interesting to see how the battery and processor far with that much information being thrown at it.
