Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab 7.7 at IFA in Berlin, the first tablet to feature a Super AMOLED Plus display. Key specs: a 7.7-inch WXGA Super AMOLED Plus screen, a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, HSPA+ 21Mbps, Android 3.2 Honeycomb with Samsung TouchWiz UX, microSD expansion, 1080p HD playback, a 5100mAh battery providing up to 10 hours of video playback, and all in a 7.89mm thin body weighing 335g.
Additional features included Wi-Fi channel bonding for improved network speeds, Universal Remote Control for home entertainment systems, Samsung Hub services (Game Hub, Music Hub with 15 million songs, Readers Hub with 2.3 million books, Social Hub), voice and video calling, and the full Google Mobile Services suite. No carrier or pricing details were announced.
